How to Care for Tumblers, Mugs, Tote Bags, and Bamboo Crafts
A short guide to caring for stainless tumblers, enamel mugs, printed tote bags, bamboo crafts, and coconut shell cups so they last and the logo stays neat.

Souvenirs that are cared for properly can be used for years. Here is how to care for each type of product.
Stainless tumblers
- Wash with warm water and dish soap using a soft sponge or bottle brush.
- Avoid steel wool and bleach. Both can scratch the outer coating and damage the engraving or color.
- Dry with the lid off so it does not stay damp and smell.
- Do not microwave. Metal is not safe in a microwave.
- Hand wash. Dishwashers can fade the colored outer coating.
- Coffee or tea smell lingering? Soak in warm water with a little baking soda, then rinse.
Enamel mugs
- Do not drop or knock them. Enamel can chip on hard impact.
- Wash with a soft sponge. Avoid rough scourers to keep the surface and print smooth.
- For mugs with a knitted handle, wash the knitted part gently and let it dry completely.
Tote bags and bottle bags
- Hand wash in cold water, especially printed bags.
- Do not scrub hard over the print.
- Iron from the inside of the bag, never directly on the print.
- Dry in the shade so the fabric and print do not fade quickly.
Bamboo crafts
- Clean with a damp cloth, then dry. Do not soak.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated place. Damp bamboo can grow mold.
- Avoid long exposure to strong sun, as bamboo can crack.
- If mold spots appear, wipe with a cloth dampened with a little vinegar, then air dry completely.
Coconut shell cups
- Hand wash with mild soap, then dry right away.
- Do not soak for long and do not put them in a dishwasher or microwave.
- Occasionally rub with a thin layer of coconut oil to keep the surface from drying out and keep its shine.
